Hey All,
I am new to this forum, and hope that you could give me a hand with this problem that i am having with WSS 3.0.
I am trying to build 3 sites.
Site A Site B Site C
And have user on to different domains but under the same forest.
I would like to have users that have access to site A have access to Site B but not C. And users that have access to Site C have access to Site B but not Site A.
How do I accomplish this task in WSS 3.0?
I thank you all for your help and please forgive me if this is a dump question I am new to sharepoint.

You'll be able to add the users to each site individually to ensure they only have access to the sites they need. You'll do this under Site Actions/Site Settings/People and Groups/Site Permissions

thank you so much for you reply.
I have a similar question
Is it possible to make/add a group in WSS 3.0?
A group called it, finance and so on.
And add groups from active directory? Because if I have to add single users and there are about 500 it will take a long time.
Is there an easier way of doing this? Adding groups from active directory?
Then when we get a new employee I don’t have to add him to 10 different sites because this is done automatically?
hope my question is understandable.
Thank you so much for your time.

Using Active Directory would be the way to go with managing a large or even a small base of users. Your correct in that adding users in AD will also be added to the site if the AD group is then added SharePoint and given a role; or placed into a SharePoint group.
