Hello,
I got the following problem, I have a custom FieldControl which works correctly, to be included in a Sharepoint 2007 list and handle it with the default views of "New" and "Edit" everything works fine, but when I create custom views in Sharepoint Designer, both views stop working, without saving the value Field, in the case of "New" custom view, we correct the problem as follows:
public override void UpdateFieldValueInItem () ( this.EnsureChildControls ();
try ( this.value = this.txtNuevoValor.text; this.ItemFieldValue = this.value; base.UpdateFieldValueInItem (); / / Calling the method UpdateFieldValueInItem (); ) catch (Exception ex) ( throw new Exception (ex.Message); ) )
... but in the case of the "Edit" custom view, still doesn't work, probably the field is locked for updating and therefore the value is not save, but I couldn't find a way to allow the upgrade. I tried with "... Field.ReadOnlyField = false," and with "Site.AllowUnsafeUpdates = true," but even so it is not possible to edit the field. Any suggestions for solving this problem.
thanks and grettings, Luis

It was solved.
This is the code.
public override void UpdateFieldValueInItem () ( this.EnsureChildControls ();
try ( this.value = this.txtNuevoValor.text; //this.ItemFieldValue = this.value; base.UpdateFieldValueInItem (); / / Calling the method UpdateFieldValueInItem ();
) catch (Exception ex) ( throw new Exception (ex.Message); ) )
