I am pretty new to SP and unfortunately I am starting to dislike it already. After a few bad installs where the DB seemed to get corrupt I completely de-installed and started from scratch. Things seem to be reasonable other than a few help questions I put in this forum. However, when I try to add a workflow to a list or library when I click OK after I configure it I get a Unknown Error screen. Microsoft is pretty talented at providing descriptive errors. If I called the Workflow XXX I get a screen flash up long enough for me to see it has Workflow: XXX on the top of a page then it shunts me to that generic error page. I tried to hit the back error to get to see that page again but it shunts me quickly again.

I haven't tried this yet but a friend of mine with some SP experience said there is a specific Workflow Foundation that SP needs.
I thought it would be the one in .Net 3.0 which I had installed but maybe it is a different one.
So I am off to hunt for that.

I forgot to mention I am using the Trial version of MOSS2007 (I also tried the WSS version).
i wasn't able to find any other Workflow Foundation to install so far.

Can you post the exact error you are receiving when trying to setup a Workflow?
In regards to your second comment about Windows Workflow; all that is needed is .Net Framework 3.0. WWF (Windows Workflow Foundation) comes bundled in the download.
