sharepoint wss 3.0 usage reports not working

Hi,

I am trying to generate reports of our website usage for my boss. I am not experienced with sharepoint but during last few days I have read many manuals and forum threads and I ended up in dead end...

"A usage report is not available for this site. Usage processing may be disabled on this server or the usage data for this site has not been processed yet. "

this is the message that I get when I want to get my reports under the "site usage reports" in "site settings" section.
Logging in "usage analysis processing" was enabled long time ago and I can see that logs are being created (folders are dated from 2010 till today).

I was trying to use following guide:

but I can't accomplish this step

Enable Office SharePoint Usage Reporting

because I do not have SSP administrator account

and this step

Activate Office SharePoint Usage Reporting

because "Reporting" service does not appear in collection features list.


I know I might be missing something that's why I ended up here asking for help.
