Is there a way to add US holidays to a calendar out of the box or with a free webpart that I can download...kinda like in Outlook?

I think you can open the Calendar in Outlook and copy/paste from 1 calendar to the other and publish that back to the site. Otherwise it will have to be manually entered in.
