Customization of My Site application

Anyone have experience customizing the My Site application within a large corporation? My companies hope is to eventually use it as a slimmed down Social Networking tool. Any thoughts or ideas as to what others have done would be appreciated. Also, any vendor suggestions as to companies with experience customizing the My Site portion of Sharepoint?

Hi,

I am currently working on Sharepoint 2003. Whenever i create a new site after giving the new site details and after filling the add link to site page and when i click the "OK" button it is not redirecting to the next page (template pickup page).
It was working fine before can anyone please let me know what could be the problem
