has anyone created their own custom web services to access any of sharepoints lists?
I am new to sharepoint and was tasked with having to learn it, and write custom web services for retrieving info from it's DB.
I have scoured the web and google, but can only find articles on how to create custom web parts.
Any advice would be great, thanks in advance.
