I'm having an authentication problem. Clients coming to thier portal (in our DMZ) are hanging when the try to open any attachments, files, docs etc. We did find out that sometimes there was a separate window popping up behind the portal window requesting login authentication again. Users couldn't see this 'login' window, and would think that the portal had stalled, hung, quit working - whatever and either closed their browser or rebooted their whole box.
We found that if they logged in, then all was well and they coukld continue on.....but this was not always the case. Some would not be able to continue, some never got the pop up....etc.
Any ideas....
BTW we are SPS 2003 on Windows 2003. This is the only instance of a client having this difficulty out of about 30. We have looked at their firewall rules and ours.....so again I ask...any thoughts
