So I downloaded and started to play with Search Server 2008 Express Beta. So far the installation went smoothly; and a subsite was created to do global searches with. Overall I enjoy working with it and will post more as I continue to find stuff. One annoyance is the Live Search results that display after you search for something in a seperate web part. If this could be removed it would be much better.
