Hi, I've set Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 to an Anonymous User Setting, so that some people who are on a different server can view the pages. I have created a document library and it works fine with users opening & viewing Adobe Acrobat PDF documents, but when I added an excel workbook when the user attempts to open it prompts for a username & password. If you hit the black cross 4 or 5 times it closes the password prompt and does open the spreadsheet, but obviously this is not very good to have happen all the time. Does anyone know how to get round this? Thanks, Alan.
