I am working on a data view web part where I want to share data from one list (contract detail) with another list (service schedule). I have set the parameters to sent to / pull from each other but the service schedule will not populate with the shared data. What am I doing wrong? What type of field should be added to service schedule to allow the data to pass? In the first field I used a lookup field for the first field (customer) and it does pass the data. I want the rest of the data that relates to that field to show (address, phone etc).
I tried to perform this task in share point designer but every time I click the show data details I get an error message that states that I do not have permission to perform that task. I questioned out IT department about the permission settings and they stated it was due to a bug in a Microsoft update and that they had opened a ticket. Anyone ever heard of this?
