I'm trying to import the Sharepoint 2.0 web site into Frontpage XP. It gives me an error: Default.aspx The file is under source control and has read only attributes. Do you want to check it out? We do not have this set up to be checked out. However if I click on No, it does nothing. If I click on Yes, I get the following error message: Server Error: You cannot check out .aspx file such as Web Part Pages. My boss is able to open the sharepoint site in his Frontpage XP. He cannot remember what he did to get it to work. He told me to look on the internet and all I have seen is that Frontpage XP will not work with Sharepoint 2.0. What am I doing wrong? ? Amy

Do you mean FrontPage 2003? Your boss is right; Frontpage XP doesn't work with WSS v2.0.

Nope, he's using Frontpage XP with Sharepoint 2.0 and he has it working. He has this version of Frontpage: Microsoft(R) FrontPage(R) 2002 (10.6308.6830) SP3
