I want create one intranet site using Sharepoint 2007 and ASP.NET 3.0

my problem how i customize whole site with my requirement and how i develop pages in asp.net and put it in sharepoint .

also how user management done with sharepoint and asp.net


please help me through simple example .

Well the 2 tools you'll need to start out with are SharePoint Designer for your branding, look and feel. To develop ASP.Net I'd recommend either SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio .Net depending on your development requirements.

One thing you'll want to start looking into is the SharePoint Software Development Kit (SDK). I'd recommend looking at the SharePoint Developers portal which will have the SDK for you to download.
