I have my landing page setup with multiple custom lists. We have created a sub site portal and need to move the lists from the landing page portal to be used in teh sub portal. I have copied the List folder from the landing page to the sub portal and can view it but in SharePoint when you view all site content it shows the default lists and not the ones I copied over.. any suggestions?

Try saving the list as a template with or without the content; then you can recreate that list on a new site. If you want the list to show on both sites then you can use the RSS webpart.
