Hi, Using a SharePoint Designer Workflow, I am looking for a way to ‘hide/secure’ a document from other users. Changing views does not work as users can still access the document via Windows Explorer. The goal is to allow only certain users involved in the workflow access to the document. Thanks…

If you open up the document properties in the library can't you set explicit permission there so only the users you want can access that particular document then?

Permissions can be set on the library or document itself; either a user has or doesn't have permissions to edit it. They can view the properties if they have "read" type access to the information. If they have no access to the information then they shouldn't see the document at all.
