I'm running MOSS 2007 on WinSer 2003 Std R2. I just installed MS's STK portal-based version and ran the configuration. All seemed fine until I clicked on Learner Site and saw that the introductory paragraphs were there, but no training content - missing. I clicked around in the site and found Training Library under site Settings and added it, but all the content - while it's there - is in ZIP format. What did I do wrong, and how do I fix it? No luck on a second attempt. I uninstalled STK, per the doc, and rebooted. Since we haven't done anything with MOSS, I did a Repair and reran the Wizard to "clean it up". Then I found the 11 April 2008 version of STK and downloaded it. I also downloaded the Farm install and regular install docs and used them side-by-side to check for differences as I did the install. Everything happened as expected, just a few differences in naming of items as I created a site just for Training whereas yesterday I added STK to the Central Admin Site (I know, shouldn't have tried that - was just seeing if I could get it to work on the admin level). Anyway, I did it slowly, step-by-step by the docs and it installed as it should, but ....... the "classes" still show up as ZIP files. I will try to post screenshots on a forum that allows it to show anyone who cares what I mean.
Sure wish we could get an answer; apparently there's a bunch of us with the same problem.
