I am setting up a MOSS 2007 test site on 2 virtual servers running 2003 patched with IE 7. One server is is SQL 2005 and the other is running MOSS 2007 standard edition. I am trying to set this up with least privileges and kerberos authentication. I was able to create the central administration site using kerberos. I used the following technet article to setup the web application and sharePoint site: technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263449.aspx#section8Unfortunately I cant get the site when i use kerberos authentication. It tries to go out and asks me if i want to buy the domain. http:kerbportal.mydomain.net I have the spns correctly assigned according to the technet article. There are no errors relevant in the event viewer. I am new to sharepoint and not sure if there is more information that I need other then the technet article I was following. Much appreciation to any suggestions. Mark

we have just completed testing kerberos with MOSS 2007 and I had a co-worker tell me that the Host-Header was the reason our test failed. So they had me create a new site with no host-header and the test worked. However I didn't feel comfortable about his answer or the fix. I just have not found anyone that could verify the host-header issue. but you can try that and see if it works for you.
Good Luck

This looks more like a host header or the domain name than the kerberos itself to me.. have u went ahead and used the exact domain names in the web pools u created too?
