Hi,
I want to display active directory information like ou group member ship or city in a sharepoint list.
Is there a way or tool to do this?

Ofcourse but I would think you would built a webpart that would get this information and present it on the page from the current users credentials. Is this correct?

Hi,
what I want to do is:
example: For a request to install software the user has to create an entry in a sharepoint list. I need some information from the users, like department and location and some more information from other AD entry like group information. All this information are in the AD.
The user create a new entry and some fields should autmatic fill out with information from AD.

I recommend you take a look at SharePoint AD Information Sync which allows you export AD information to SharePoint list with single click. This is the only way I can think of right now! |
