Hi, I hope i have the right forum for this. I have I guess what would be called the front end admin level? Full control to a sharepoint page. I have configured the document library to accept emails and save the attachments to the library. This is working fine, but i have need to save the attachments automatically 3-5 levels deep into the document library.. I can achieve 1 folder down by saving attachments to folders based off subject name but i need the files saved further in. IE: sharepointsite\shared documents\backups\Backup Daily logs\2008 I have tested the following email subjects...
Backups\Backup Daily logs\2008 \Backups\Backup Daily logs\2008 Backups\Backup Daily logs\2008\ \Backups\Backup Daily logs\2008\ Backups/Backup Daily logs/2008 /Backups/Backup Daily logs/2008 Backups/Backup Daily logs/2008/ /Backups/Backup Daily logs/2008/
each of those 8 subject lines, strips the "/" or "\" and saves the attachment to a folder called "BackupsBackup Daily logs2008" within shared documents.
So my question is this, is there a way to craft a subject line to save to the nestled folders? I'm open to other ideas on how to affect this. I'm trying to avoid VBA\VBS scripting of outlook, excel or word to save the log files to this path, and I'm trying to avoid the network path ie \\servername\shared documents\...
My thanks for any input on this, I've spent this afternoon using google but didn't really come up with much on this besides basic setup of the feature.
