I hope some one can shed a light on this for me. Here is my scenario:
On our intranet portal, I have added a site for managing projects across the company. It includes a Projects list and a Project Tasks list which are linked with a Project column drop down.
Different user are given rights to view a project depending on what departmental group they are in. This works great for the Projects list.
My problem is that the associated Project Tasks lists for each Project don't inherit the same security that the parent Project has. How can this be done?
I hate to think I have to setup the same permissions for each Project Task list (and contacts, documents, other lists that should link to the parent Project.)
Thanks for you help!
