taking too long to open a page

Hello, All.

I need your help.
We are running MOSS 2007. My Question here is that not like any other site, some of sites are taking too long to open up even if they are under the same site collection.
Do you know know what causes the slowness and how to fix it?

Is your server's resources exhausted? Is there latency between the Database Server and Front-end Web Servers? Please explain your environment more throughly so we can better assist.
