Newbie-Creating webpages using Word content

I'm trying to add some FAQ web pages to my Sharepoint site. I've created the FAQ documents in Word, they have internal bookmark/hyperlinks, and I'm dropping them into the Blank Web Page Rich Text Editor. When I save, click the webpage, and try out the bookmark links, the Rich Text Editor opens up on top of the web page. I can close the Rich Text Editor and the FAQ bookmark/hyperlinks work fine, navigating me around my document to the answers associated with the bookmark/hyperlinks, but I don't want the Rich Text Editor to show.

What am I doing wrong? My users will not understand it when they go to my FAQ webpage and they click on a question bookmark/hyperlink and the Rich Text Editor opens up.

Is there a different way to do this?
