I've installed sharepoint 2007 and create a SSP. I'm trying to read in articles but still not so clear. When I create, two web applications are used for shared service provider(administration site host) and my site location in SSP. Then, I want to create a site collection. But I don't know which web application should I use for site collection. Should I use SSP(administration site host) or SSP(my site) or create new web application? When I create site collection, how it will relate with SSP that I created? Thanks much in advance.

I would create a new web application for the site your users will use to store or collaborate on content. For MySites, Search, etc... use the SSP that you created.
