Yesterday one of my college got a tool called Sharepoint Document Auto Title( www.sharepointboost.com/auto-title.html) and he said it is very helpful to him, but I do know why the title of a document is so important. Anyone know this? Thanks in advance!

Anyone know this? Thanks in advance! Because it helps with search results and identifying the document in a list. Nice plug on another great SharePointBoost product.

But I think the names of the documents can do the same job, Title and Name, What the difference when apply to Sharepoint Document? I always skeptic the significance of it! Thank you for your kind response anyway! Best regards!

Thank you for your kind response anyway! Best regards! Think of when your working in Microsoft Office Word, there is a file name and document title. Sometimes they are the same, sometimes they are different. SharePoint Document Libraries gives you that same functionality.
