I am sure, you immediately recognize, that I am no native speaker, so apologize for my mistakes.
I am new in SharePoint Deployment, an there is an interesting question for me to work on. I have no idea, maybe you can help me.
situation: I integrate WordDocuments to SharePoint. For that I have two libraries (more precisely two views on one library). One for the originals and the other for the copied documents. My "send to"/"other location" copies the originals to the copied documents. Then I have to choose "edit properties" and I come to my own modified edit.aspx. There I am able to search in the database for informations and fill them automatically in the fields. If I have safed I can open the wordDokument on my own, where the fields are filled.
my work: these moves should all be done in one big step. It should be possible to get from the copy.aspx directly to the edit.aspx and then to the filled WordDocument himself. Without big interruption, just the possibilty to fill in some fields.
Which possibilities are there?
