Platform: MOSS 2007 on Windows Server 2003 Std. R2 and SQL Serer 2005. All current with patches and updates. =================== I am working on our Intranet a bit more before telling the staff it's "live" and came across the following error. It doesn't prevent any action, but it bugs me.
From the top-level site > Site Actions > Manage Content and Structure ... I quickly get a new page that says, " Cannot complete this action. Please try again." There's a link below to "Troubleshoot issues with Windows SharePoint Services" and one at the top to "Go back to site". Just checked my ULS, but the next log file won't be done for another 15 minutes.
Not to appear impatient, but I'd like to gather ideas and comments on this error so I can better delve into fixing this (still quite inexperienced on my end).
TIA,

The error that you see is not very descriptive and could be a 1 of several issues. I would recommend looking at the event viewer and sharepoint logs.
