Folder Permissions not working

Hi,

I have setup a sub site document library. This site does not inherit permissions from its parent. I have crated folders in the site and attempted to set permissions on each folder by breaking the inheritance. Everything thing works except when I try to give a user or a group contribute permission; they still only have read permissions. So I must have something setup wrong.

Instead of me trying to explain this in detail, the link below provides screenshots and a great explanation on the setup. I would double check your permissions on the site and ensure the users are in fact users on the site and that they have the right permissions to the library.
