My dba (administrator of the database) tells me I can not put my documents in Sharepoint will drop because the database, because turn into binary search and be extremely impractical.
I did some testing, includes more than 300 documents and to date the foundation did not exceed 5 GB and I see no impact on the servers.
On the contrary, I see benefits of centralization and others.
What I do not know, is justified for the dba to attach documents in sharepoint is worth and that it should rather be concerned but not much, but go every day checking the IOS or impacts, they think of this case?
I know that everything depends on hardware but in this case, my sharepoint is already running perfectly, just can not show that the dba what he wants does not exist.
