Technical Review:
By default, SharePoint search results are based on relevance.
Issue:
They way it should be is, first display the documents and / or list items and finally page urls related to the given search criteria.
By Default:
It is displaying page urls before documents and / or list items.
Possibilities:
1. We can create a search scope using which we can display only the specific items let us say documents or list items
2. We can modify the Search Results web’s XSLT .
Requirement:
Please let me know the best possible way to achieve this.
Note:
Page urls->either a link to document library or link to list or someother link
document, list item -> an entity of document library or list library...
