Need to move WSS 3.0 databases from Windows Server 2003 / SQL Server 2005 to a new Windows Server 2008 / SQL Server 2008 instance. The instances have different names. I've seen how to migrate to server with same version of OS and SQL Server and same name, from one to the other with different name, and from 2005 to 2008 with same name, but not 2005 to 2008 with different instance name.
If there is an MS KB that will give this, then simply point me to that. (I've searched and haven't found one; but that might just be do to the myriad of WSS 3.0 articles.) If there is a good non-MS source, I'd like to know that as well.
