Hi all, I'm trying to set up a trial version of MOSS 2007 in out test lab. It's all installed and configured fine except for one issue. When I try to configure the Shared Service Provider (SSP) I have a problem. I set it all up and then in the SSP Service Credentials I use (search) a domain ID which is a domain admin ID. When I click OK, and go back to the Manage this Farm's Shared Services screen I see an error message: Provisioning Failed: Windows NT User or group 'ubmigrationlab.com\sharepoint' not found. check the name again. The ID obviously does exist (considering I searched for it in the previous screen and it found it). I've also tried the same with a local admin ID on the MOSS box. Any help appreciated.

Have you tried to login using the domain without the '.com'? For a test environment up you can use a local account; but a domain account would work much better
