K2 is looking for a technical sales professional with deep and broad technology experience as well as strong solution selling skills.
In this role, you will work with business and technical decision makers from K2 enterprise accounts as well as K2 partners and K2 account teams. You will focus on product demonstrations, leading Strategy Briefings, Architecture Design Sessions and Proof of Concepts to help enterprise customers identify and articulate the business opportunity, propose and validate solution architectures, and overall solution strategy.
This position will work from a home office, traveling frequently within assigned geography.
The successful candidate will have deep enterprise development experience, including in-depth, hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework and the Microsoft SharePoint Platform (MOSS 2007 and Office 2010/SharePoint 2010).
Eperience in one or more of the following is also required: .NET C# or VP.NET, Sharepoint Development Platform. The ability to explain abstract technical concepts in a business value context is also a must.
A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience combined with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, including a technical sales background is preferred.
The position requires a commitment to customer satisfaction, including internal customers, the ability to thrive in a virtual team environment, and strong communication and presentation skills. The candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership of opportunities; works independently, manages multiple simultaneous projects, and deals well with ambiguity and last-minute changes.
The candidate needs to have the ability and passion necessary to maintain technical excellence with emerging technologies, while continuing to manage customer opportunities.
