DUTIES
• Providing on-site assistance to customers and partners with delivery of post-sales or proof-of-concept projects in planning, requirements-gathering, designing, scoping, estimating, developing, installing, testing and deploying business process automation projects. Customer success and satisfaction will be a key measure of success.
• Configuring and developing custom code using .NET technologies that allow the product to meet the business needs of the customer.
• Interfacing with customers and partners on general and specific issues and involving other experts and/or management as necessary.
• Producing regular and detailed progress reports to management, including information which may impact target achievements or service delivery.
• Documentation of business process management technology implementations.
• Completing, maintaining and processing pertinent engagement-related communications and records.
• Executing product training classes.
• Having an in-depth understanding of K2 design methodology.
• Making significant contributions to library of internal and customer-facing technical content.
• Conducting independent technical research using company supplied tools, databases, knowledge bases, etc. in order to find solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Mentoring less-experienced team members.
• Directing the day-to-day work of other Consultants when paired on the same engagements.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be willing to travel frequently (70%+).
• 8 years development experience (emphasis on .NET) with minimum of 4 years consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent .NET development skills (C#, ASP.NET, WCF).
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated experience with SharePoint, InfoPath and SQL Server.
• Significant architectural design and application development experience.
• Experience with integrating disparate systems.
• Proven ability to negotiate project scope and deliverables.
• Understanding of network infrastructure and security.
• Business process/workflow analysis experience a plus.
• Project management, team leadership and mentoring experience a plus.
• Strong in-person and written customer communication skills.
• Strong PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications.
• Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
