Hello all,
I've recently run into a problem in dealing with access and sharepoint. Everytime I try and open my access db from a sharepoint document library it asks if I want to open in 'read only' or 'edit' mode.
The database is used as a search tool so everytime a search is run, something in the db changes. Therefore, it has to be opened in an edit only mode.
The problem is how can I alter the settings so it opens in edit only mode every time. I don't want to be prompted about which mode it opens in.
Thanks

Hi, SharePoint lists amazing ways input or display information to information workers. These structures may be flat, now extended with columns of research simulating a relational easier storage. At this stage, relational databases should not be regarded as reflected in the SharePoint lists, but via the Business Data Catalog, data can be displayed or indexed or leverage for the validation of the column or research. Databases such as SQL databases themselves are not good candidates for storage in a document library. The files to be blocked or the transaction logs would be more suitable for storage in the file system.
