hi,
i'm new with sharepoint services 3. i have created a website application with site sollection. now everytime i log in i see this:
servername\username. In the userinfo table it is also stored like this.
my question is. how can i remove the server name. cause if i want to put this website i'm creating how can i put it on another machine with another server name? and i'm using another database. in this database the names of the users are stored but without this server name. now how can i let the user view their data from this database if there userID is servername\username.
i hope i'm clear enough.
