Error in Enabling business data search

Hi,

I am getting "bdc2://1c37e8d8-845f-4bcf-bc79-614d2ff8c316/393...The parameter is incorrect. (Access denied by BDC.)" error while crawling the business data (SQL Server). Has anyone experienced this?

Jismon,

I had the same challenge and discovered that you need to give the account that's doing the crawling permissions to Execute Methods at the application level AND at the entity level. You can do this in the Central Admin application in Shared Services Admin.
