Adding a Wiki topic causes the Wiki page to hang.

When a new Wiki topic is created and submited (or deleted), the listing page for it does not load for 3+ minutes. This does not happen when a page is edited. With these symptoms, I am assuming that it is an indexing issue.

Any thoughts about how to improve the performance?
