Uploading an image directly to a list.

Hi

I am creating a News feed but need to be able to upload an image into a form without needing to upload the image to an image library first. The headline, a teaser, the main content and an image all need to be done from the 1 content type. Can anyone help me with how to get the image directly from my local computer and into the sharepoint list with all the other data without doing the image separately first?
