Position Overview:
This position is for a Mid to Senior Level SharePoint developer supporting an eCommerce website. This SharePoint Developer will assist in the design, maintenance, development, and administration of the entire site, including all end-user functionality. This position is responsible for design, development, and management of processes to deliver custom and standard SharePoint sites to customers. This position will work closely with the software development and server teams to stay current on technologies and software standards.
Responsibilities of this position include:
• Designing and building custom SharePoint sites, custom web parts
• Creating SharePoint templates, custom workflows
• Designing SharePoint forms, reports
• Developing solutions to meet customer requirements
Basic Requirements:
• Requires a minimum of 3-5 years hands-on experience with SharePoint
Additional Requirements:
Qualified candidate needs advanced skills and experience with SharePoint as well as an understanding of design tools (such as: SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio), as well as development of web-based software applications in general. Other requirements include:
• MS Commerce Server Experience is a Strong Plus
• Knowledge in software development using SharePoint, HTML, .NET, ASP, SQL Server Databases, XML web application
• Object-oriented programming
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
• Strong written and verbal communication to interact with management
• Ability to work in a fast moving, high-pressure, team-oriented environment
• Capable of adapting to changing priorities to meet customer demands
• Ability to work with customers to gather, document, and track software requirements through the software development life-cycle
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to successfully complete work assignments
• SAP Experience a Plus
