Hi I need to know about some of the performance objects exposed by MOSS 2007 through Perfmon which are related to the SharePoint database with the prefix "MSSQL$OFFICESERVERS". ARE these counters actually exposed by MOSS? or ARE they exposed by SQL Server as MOSS uses SQL Server as its backend? If the counters are indeed exposed by MOSS then HOW can a normal user/administrator make use of these for monitoring MOSS 2007 as almost all the counters are SQL Server specific, and there doesnt seem to be a way to control these counters directly as the user CANNOT EXPLICITLY intervene with the database operations of MOSS 2007. Could someone please help me with this?? Thanks in advance
