I'm wondering if anyone can assist me.
Ultimately I want to be able to use the [me] filter on a sharepoint list on a column which is not either 'modified by' or 'created by'
What i am trying to do: the long version: I work in a school and would like staff to be able to input student grades into a list and then for those grades to show to each individual student when they log in.
I have a form which staff can fill in which consists of the fields 'subject' 'teacher name' 'grade' etc. which works fine and populates a list. I then want to display this to the student, so when Ben Bloggs logs in he only sees his grades.
On the filter view of the list i want to be able to use the [me] filter on the 'student' field which apparently i cannot do (this will only work for 'modified by' or 'created by' fields) Does anyone know of a solution to this at all?
