How to count the numberof times a Post is viewed

Hi,

For WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 - I would like to know, how can one calculate the number of times a post on a discussion board has been viewed ? My concern is - I want to display the discussion board items like the way they are being displayed on this site - with a column for Views.

By default I don't think there is a way to do this; you can look into the SharePoint Designer Reports which will report on usage but I don't think it goes into any granuliar detail. Have you looked into Google Analytics?

We use Google Analytics specific to content deployment, trending, etc...
